Guillermo is a furniture designer and his studio is in Brooklyn's Navy Yard district. He came to the United States in 1996 to study philosophy and art history at Sarah Lawrence College. He also attended an Industrial Design program at the Pratt Institute.
Bernardo,32, met his wife in 2005. Eva is an editor, who has worked for several New York publishing houses, including Rizzoli.
The couple were married in a civil ceremony in March. Their daughter, Isabel Christina, was born on April 13. The couple live in Brooklyn, so it is entirely possible that marriage and the birth took place there, and not in Manhattan.
Mrs. Guillermo's professional name is Eva Prinz. She is an art editor, who specializes in architecture and architectural history. She works for Harry Abrams, and she recently edited Alan Moore's 25,000 Years of Erotic Freedom, which will be published in October by Abrams. Here is a link to an interview Eva conducted with architect Greg Lynn.

The couple plan to marry in a religious wedding in September. (It should be noted that here in the USA, civil weddings are not required by law. All weddings, whether conducted by a judge or a minister, are legal and are registered by the civil authorities).
