HSH The Hereditary Prince of Isenburg is "delighted and full of gratitude" for the birth of a daughter, HSH Princess Alix Imagina Blanca Irmingard Maria, who was born, perhaps prematurely, in a Munich hospital on November 24.
The Hereditary Princess and her new daughter are both doing well, and expected to return to the family home, Schloss Birstein, very soon.
Hereditary Prince Alexander married Dr Sarah Lorenz, in June 2014.
The new parents are 46 and 34 years old, respectively.

The new baby will be known as HSH Princess Alix Imagina of Isenburg.
The Hereditary Prince is the oldest of five children of HSH Franz Alexander, Prince of Isenburg, and his wife, Countess Christine von Saurma.

Thanks, Marlene, for posting this! If you ever have the opportunity, I would love to see an article on the Isenburg-Birstein family, whose best-known member is, of course, Sophie, Princess of Prussia. My great-grandfather was the head forester for Fuerst Franz-Joseph zu Isenburg-Birstein (1869-1939).
